Course Overview
This course is an introduction to Human Resource Management and its key concepts. The course focuses on the different elements of human resource management and how to apply them in the real word.  In today’s fast paced business environment, organizations need to ensure they are utilizing their employee to their fullest potential. This course examines the benefits of using the HR department as a strategic resource to ensure the organization’s goals are aligned with the employee’s responsibilities and objectives. Each Module, the course will examine different aspects of human resource management and how to excel at each aspect. 
 
Expected OutcomesUpon completion of the course, students are expected to be able to:
 
  1. Describe how VLANs and trunks operate and which protocols are associated with them.
  2. Identify some of the common reasons that port connectivity, VLAN configuration, and trunk establishment can fail and ways to identify and solve the problem.
  3. Describe EtherChannel technology and the various technologies that are available to implement it.
  4. Configure EtherChannel and verify EtherChannel operations.
  5. Describe various approaches to troubleshooting network connectivity issues.
  6. Describe how to configure and monitor EIGRP.
  7. Describe and contrast the functions and characteristics of WANs and LANs
  8. Describe GRE tunneling
  9. Identify some of the tools for monitoring and troubleshooting Cisco devices

Exercises: You will go through a series of exercises that will assess your comprehension and application of the principles covered in the course. Once you answer the assignment questions, you may compare your answers to the answer key.
 
Lesson Quizzes/Tests: 
Upon completion of each lesson and exercises, there is a lesson Quiz.  These quizzes will assess your comprehension of the concepts covered within the lesson presentations. The grade achieved on these quizzes will be saved in the gradebook for the course.
 
Final Exam: 
Upon completion of all the activities in the course, there is a final exam. The exam will focus on all the material covered throughout the course, including reading assignments. Once the exam has been started, it must be completed and submitted, so be sure you have set aside enough time to finish the exam.  The results achieved on the final exam will be saved in the gradebook.
